                            (Seven Mountain/Cultural Gateways State Prayer Guide)

 

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,  who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: (1 Timothy 2: 1-6)

 

The state prayer guide that is listed below is most likely not all encompassing, but is an attempt to cover most areas that are a concern to many if not all of us.  We will be adding to this state prayer guide as suggestions are provided and we see changing conditions that will be encountered as a state and nation.  We pray that laborers will go into the harvest in all of the “seven cultural gateways” with a new boldness and perseverance. 

 

Where did the Seven Cultural Gateway Emphasis Originate?

 

In the 1970s, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth with a Mission , brought forth revelation concerning culture being shaped by seven "spheres" or "influencers". Lance Wallnau ( a noted Bible Teacher) advanced that revelation and redefined the terminology  as the " Seven Mountains of Culture." The understanding is that every culture is led and shaped by seven areas of society (mountains – Isaiah 2:2) -- those who rise to the top of these mountains provide the influence and leadership to direct a nation. God is calling His people to pursue these places of influence and create a “tipping point” where transformation can take place in these seven cultural gateways – Family; Church; Education/Science; Government/Law; Business/Economics; Media/Communications; and finally Arts/Entertainment.  Our prayer emphasis will be centered on these seven areas whether you call them mountains or cultural gateways.

 

Can you see a harvest net being cast for souls and a protective shield arising over our state?  Will you believe through specific targeted prayer we will move mountains as we speak to them (Mark 11: 22-25).  It will take a mentality that will be servant based where each church, ministry, house of prayer, and individual will work together in love, forgiveness, restoration, reconciliation - letting past differences go.

 

It is to be done in a spirit of Psalm 133 and John 17 unity where there is unity in our diversity that allows Christ to be the head of his body.  Generations will come together as well as churches, ministries, houses of prayer, university prayer groups, and individuals in the body of Christ. This prayer endeavor will birth a critical mass to impact our culture in the state and nation.

POINT TO PONDER:

E.M Bounds a noted prayer warrior said, “Prayer is the greatest of all forces as it honors God and brings Him into active aid.”   He also stated, “Everything depends upon prayer, and yet we neglect it not only to our own spiritual hurt but also to the delay and injury of our Lord’s cause on earth.  The forces of good and evil are contending for the world.  Had there been importunate, universal and continuous prayer by God’s people, long ere this the earth had been possessed for Christ.”

                   The Family Cultural Gateway #1

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the strengthening of the family units and marriages in Michigan; and for unity and peace with in the home. (Isaiah 32:8) 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for those who are in financial difficulty and those who have lost jobs and homes would find work here in Michigan. We  ask the Lord for financial breakthroughs for the families; Pray that our economy despite the nation’s recession will prosper. (Matthew 6: 25-31, Philippians 4:19)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the covenant breaking spirit, which manifest as divorce, will be bound and cast off our state.    Pray that the Love of God and faithfulness will be released over the marriages. (Hebrews 13:4, Hosea 2:19-20)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to stop the evil agenda that is trying to redefine marriage and legalizing homosexual marriages within our state.   Pray that this plan would become an outcry of outrage from the true family structures in Michigan. Pray The Lord for divine strategies that will be successful in stopping this agenda of left wing activists and extremist. (Philippians 2:15)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the families within our state to be given wisdom for a redirection of priorities, first a turning to God in repentance for materialism and refocusing on the family members and relationships. (Matthew 6:26, 1 Timothy 6:10,  Hebrews 13:5-6)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that parents would be bold to instruct their children in living God’s way and will lead their families in prayer and seeking God together.  Pray that proper authority structure in the family will again be taught and honored. (Jeremiah 31:1-3, Proverbs 4:1-6)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that was promised to be released in the last day will be released over the families of the State of Michigan.   Pray for Revival fire to break out in our Churches schools and businesses and in the spheres of influence within each family.  (Joel 2:28-32)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the blessings of the Lord to come upon the families in Michigan, and then in turn we will be a blessing to other states across America. (Genesis 12:3, Deuteronomy 28:1-15)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that families would gather together in their homes to pray and fast for our state and nation.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that traditional family Biblical values would be encouraged in the home and lived out.

We Pray and ask the Lord…for pastors, elders, deacons and church leadership to be blessed and have the favor upon the Lord as well as their families. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for pulpits in our state and nation to be aflame with the truth of God’s Word never shrinking back or compromising.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that any “hate crime legislation” would fall to the ground!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…in the Name of Jesus Christ for His Kingdom authority to break and cast off the spirits of religion and disunity from our homes, churches and our local church community.  May there be unity in our diversity!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for His grace to bring holiness, integrity and Christ like character for our Pastors and church leaders. We pray that their hearts would be strengthened in Christ and they would stand and live in righteousness and godliness before their communities

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that our youth will get revelation of your Word and go deeper and be released in their gifts to be a witness to there generation.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to stir your people to pray and fast and see the need at this hour.  Give us revelation how and what to pray. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to expose the anti-Christ spirit that has subtly influenced the minds and hearts of the people.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for grace for mercy and help to walk in repentance and humility always seeking the face of the Lord.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to stir people to understand how to rest in His presence.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the influences and intimidation of the Islamic agenda would not make the church in Michigan retreat and become timid.  We pray for great boldness in our witness for Jesus Christ and declaring the power of His blood!  We pray that the light of the glorious Christ Jesus and His bride will shine brightly, forcing back the darkness and deception of Islam within our state.  (Revelations 12:11)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for blessing, protection, and favor upon the house of prayer in DearbornMichigan that been birthed.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to give His church the revelation of the authority they have in Christ Jesus.  May the church walk in signs, wonders, and miracles and believe the promises of God.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for unity within the church of Jesus Christ.   Pray that denominationalism, racism, traditions, strife, envy, jealousies, competition and doctrinal issues would be placed to the side and true Love for the body of Christ would flourish within the church.   (Psalms 133:1-3, John 17)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the eyes of our heart would be opened and the people of God would repent for the love of money (mammon) which is idolatry, and would turn to and trust the Lord for our daily provisions.  (Matthew 6: 25-34)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the strengthening of marriages and family within the church.   We ask you to break off a covenant breaking spirit of divorce and division.   We pray for peace and unity within the homes.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the Church of Jesus Christ would begin to seek the Lord for the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit promised for this time.  We ask for your presence Lord to be in our midst and your glory to come down upon us!   (Joel 2:28, Acts 1:8)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the releasing of the Five Fold Ministries gifts within the body of Christ in Michigan, to prepare the church to do works of ministry outside the 4 walls of the church buildings.  Stir the gifts in the church!  (Ephesians 4:11-13)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to stir the musicians and singers across our state to praise and worship Him in a new song that will impact our state.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the Church, that we would reflect the image and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world.  We ask you Lord to break off of us the fear of man and replace it with the Fear of the Lord.   (2 Corinthians 3:18, 4:6-7)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to prepare His church with great faith, discernment, strength, wisdom, and understanding for the tribulations and hardships ahead. (John 17:15)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for an increase of His Love to manifest that will not grow cold but will remain hot in these last days.  (Matthew 24:12)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for a warrior spirit of intercession that will stand and fight against the forces of darkness over our state (Ezekiel  22:30).  Let us rejoice and take courage knowing The Kingdom of God is abundantly greater and King Jesus shall reign forever! (Revelation 11:15)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for wisdom to build the house of God (the church) and with it get understanding.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to release the wealth of the wicked into the church and that grace for proper stewardship of those finances would be given.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to provide finances for those missionaries and outreaches that are bringing forth your Kingdom purposes in our state, nation and the world.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to remind us of the suffering church around the world.  We pray favor and blessings upon them!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to break down dividing walls between the white and black church as we are all the body of Christ.

               The Government / Law Cultural Gateway #3

                                           

“First of all, then I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings, and all who are in authority.” (1 Timothy2:1-2)

 

STATE OF MICHIGAN:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for God given wisdom for our leaders in the state of Michigan.  We ask the Lord to reveal himself for a personal relationship with each one, ask the Lord to open their ears so they will know the voice of God and be lead by his direction during these hard times. (Daniel 2:19-23)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to raise up and place his favor and wisdom upon men and women who like Joseph and Daniel were able to solve problems and bring solutions and for good influence the leaders with in the nation. (Proverbs 18:16)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for our legislators for clear minds and the ability to be well informed so to pass good laws for our state. (Proverbs 25:2, 14:34)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for protection and wisdom for Governor Granholm.  May she be visited by the Lord and make Godly righteous decisions.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to protect our state from any social unrest, terrorism, biological, chemical warfare, and any geo-physical disaster.  May our state leaders be postured and ready to face any crisis and deal with any challenge that manifests.

 

THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to protect the President of the United States Barack Obama and his family.  We pray that any assassination attempt will be exposed and we ask angelic protection for him as well as those around him.. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for angelic visitation, a dream or God encounter to impact President Obama.  May he have a "writing on the wall encounter" that will shake and move him in fear of the Lord.  May President Obama make decisions that will be righteous ones that will uphold Biblical principles.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that President Obama will reverse the trends of same sex marriage and abortion in America and that the white and black church will encourage him to change his mind and bring forth righteousness.  Open his eyes Lord.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the Christian heritage of our nation would not be undermined and lost by ungodly influences.  We were not founded as a secular nation as is being presently claimed. 

 

THE COURTS:

 

[U.S. Supreme Court] -  Stephen Breyer, Clarence Thomas, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy, John Paul Stevens, Chief Justice John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Sonja Sotomayer.

 

[MichiganState Supreme Court] – Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly, Michael Cavanagh, Elizabeth Weaver, Maura Corrigan, Robert Young, Jr, Stephen Markman, Diane Hathaway

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for our Judges, for the spirit of the Lord to rest upon them with discernment, wisdom, knowledge and understand and the fear of the Lord as they make decisions for the people.  (Isaiah 11:2-4)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for visitation angelic, and God encounters in the night seasons where the fear of the Lord will overtake them - especially for all new court appointments.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that all bad laws are struck down and laws are upheld that are based on God’s Word and His truths.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that these men and women of our courts would uplift the 10 Commandments and live and make decisions by them.

 

SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to clean out the corruption in government

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to fill our Governmental leaders and servants with character and integrity; that these men and women will not be bought or bribed to pervert justice or twist our laws for evil. (Psalms 101: 2-4, Isaiah 33 :15-16)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for bipartisanship within our legislators.  May the disunity be stopped and God’s righteous principles come forth. (Psalms 133:1, Proverbs 14:34)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to place wisdom, understanding and insight upon his righteous leaders to solve problems and bring solutions for our state. (Proverbs 8:12-18)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the financial funding supporting the pro abortion, anti family- marriage, and homosexual agenda would be cut off.  We ask the Lord to expose and thwart the plans of these evil men who are at work within our state to overthrow righteous laws. (Psalms 37:7-10)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that freedoms we now possess through our U.S. Constitution would not be dismantled by those who desire to make us a Socialist anti-God secular state and nation.

 

 

ISRAEL:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that our nations leaders will stand in support of Israel so it would not be divided.  We pray that Israel will be protected and supported by our U.S government and its power and authority that it has.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that all influences of anti-Semitism will cease in our state and nation.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to cover Israel with protection from its enemies which includes terrorism, use of nuclear weapons, and intimidation.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that all Israel shall be saved as the scriptures declare.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that Israeli leadership will have the wisdom necessary to make decisions to meet any challenge they will face.

 

MUSLIMS IN MICHIGAN AND THE MIDDLE EAST:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord...for all Muslims to receive the hope and love of our Lord Jesus Christ and to be saved.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord...for visions and dreams along with angelic encounters that would bring forth the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord...that the veil of ignorance would be lifted off of all Muslims in regards to the teachings of the Koran and Hadiths in Dearborn and the Middle East.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord...that arabic speaking Christians would be bold to preach the Gospel to their people and we ask for there protection.  Surround them with angels.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord...to lift the ignorance off of the Western Church to realize and see the true face of Radical Islam!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord...for the Dearborn House of Prayer to be fruitful and gain wisdom and understanding in prayer so hearts could be softened to receive the Gospel.  Send in the watchman, intercessors and evangelists with a prophetic word.

MILITARY / LAW ENFORCEMENT / FIREFIGHTERS:

 

Declare Psalm 91 Over Our Troops, Law Enforcement and Firefighters:

 

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my god, in whom I trust. Surely he will save you form the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.  He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.  His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.  You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, not the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.  You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIREFIGHTERS:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the protection of our police and firefighters in our state.  Pray for peace, protection and strength in their homes and marriages. (Psalms 91:1-16)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for angelic protection as they are the first responders in any crisis situation.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for their emotional well being: The mental, physical and emotional aspects are always on high alert. There is a combination of stress and anxiety always at work which can impact the mind in many ways.  Divorce can be a result and forms of escapism which are counter productive to the mind, body, spirit and soul.

We Pray and ask the Lord…for our police and firefighters to make choices in spontaneous situations that continually arise that are filled with wisdom that will bring forth the greatest good. Wisdom is the right use and exercise of knowledge; quickness of intellect; readiness of apprehension; and a dexterity in execution.

We Pray and ask the Lord… they would have compassion for the people they serve.  Our police and firefighters are dealing with lives and souls that will face God some day. May they have a heart like Jesus Christ and feel what an individual may be going through at the time, and respond accordingly.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that law enforcement and firefighter personnel would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as savior.  This is the greatest need of all as salvation is the pathway to resolve all individual problems that may arise.

We Pray and ask the Lord…they would exhibit integrity, honesty and dedication.  A virtuous individual is to be highly regarded and respected. Temptations can present situations for any person to fail at some time. May they have spiritual fortitude and strength to be honest, dedicated and individuals of integrity.

 

MILITARY:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for grace for the families of our military, and ask the Lord to release his blessings peace and grace while the troops are serving abroad.   Pray for provisions to be met, for health safety and faithfulness in the homes. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the transition from one presidential administration to the new one will flow smoothly in God’s purposes.  Pray that our troop’s moral remains strong in this current presidency!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that our security will remain strong.  We ask the Lord to uncover any plan to release information that would jeopardize our national security, or the security of our troops, and law enforcement personnel.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to give success to our military over in Iraq.  Pray that they will be able to finish what was start militarily wise and that the mission would not be aborted by pulling out prematurely.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for wisdom and protection in the engagement of troops in Afghanistan, North Korea, and other hot spots in the world where our men and women are deployed.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to expose and thwart every attempt of the Al Qaide and any terrorist organization or plot to bomb our troops in Iraq or to release any type of bomb here on US soil or on any waterway.  We ask angelic hosts to protect schools, churches, shopping malls, coffee shops, stadiums and any place where people meet.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the Generals and leaders of our military, that they will be filled with godly wisdom and strategies for waging war whenever necessary.  (1 Chronicles 12:32)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to reveal and place the right information into their hands of our Homeland Security, for the thwarting of any Muslim terrorist agenda or separatist group here in Michigan.  We ask the Lord to dispatch angels around the nuclear power plant in Monroe and all those around our state.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for a great revival to break out among our troops.  We ask the Lord to pour out his Holy Spirit with powerful miracles signs and wonders in our military. They will truly become Joel’s army! (Joel 2:28-32)

             The Education / Science Cultural Gateway #4

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to raise up righteous teachers and professors that will tear down lies being taught in the schools.  Pray for boldness and protection for the Christian teacher as they speak the truth, exposing wrong mindsets and idolatrous foundations.   (Psalms 51:6    John 7:15-18)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for Godly wisdom for the Boards of Education, the elected officials, both men and women, who make decisions for our children’s education materials.  We ask the Lord to raise up Christians who will make a strong stand for good materials and against the new age, pro-abortion mindsets, anti god and homosexual friendly curriculum, and loose morality that is being forced upon the students.  (Isaiah 30:20-22)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for our teachers and professors in our state.  We ask the Lord to give grace and anointing them so that they will teach our young people godly values even in the public schools.  (Proverbs 22:6)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to bind the powers of perversion and the strong influence of sexual immorality that is being embraced and taught as normal to our children.  We ask you Lord to use the church in prayer to tear down, destroy, over throw and up root these demonic obsessions flooding into the schools.  We ask the Lord to bless the standard of purity and abstinence.  (Jeremiah 1:9-10, 1 Timothy 4:11-12)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…Pray that our constitutional morally based freedom of speech will not be taken from us!  We ask the Lord to send laborers to the schools and college campus’s who will speak the truth to our youth, even in the face of persecutions.  

(Psalms 78: 1-4, John 8:32)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to protect all campus evangelist’s who are bringing truth to university campuses through the preaching of the Gospel.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to reveal and bring to justices any physical mental or sexual abuse that is taking place upon any child within the schools.  We pray for the protection of the Holy angels to be encamped around our children. (Matthew 18:6,10-11)  

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to protect the rights of home schooling parents in Michigan.  Pray that rights of freedom to teach Godly based curriculum will not be taken from our state.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…Pray that the fear of the Lord and respect for authority will once again be taught to our children. (Deuteronomy 31:12-13) 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to raise up anointed people to lead bible studies and prayer groups within the schools.  We declare the opening of this educational door for the promised youth revival in these last days. (Joel 2 28:32, Isaiah 44:3-5, Psalms 24:6-10)

 

SCIENCE:

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that all doctors, nurses, and all medical personnel would be allowed due to their conscience not to perform abortions.  May they rise up against this national holocaust of killing the unborn.  We pray they will be a voice for life!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that science would not be used to transgress the moral law of God – embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, human engineered diseases – that will bring a curse upon our state and nation.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for grace, favor, wisdom and blessing upon all individuals involved in the medical field as well as their families. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for protection in any crisis we may face in the future whether disaster related, a pandemic, acts of terrorism and any challenge that could manifest.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the discoveries being made in science where there is an intelligent designer – GOD – be revealed in Jesus name in the secular and public arena.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for medical solutions and breakthroughs regarding all diseases!

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for signs, wonders, and miracles to break out in this profession where they will lay hands on the sick for a total recovery of their patients.

          The Business / Economic Cultural Gateway #5

                                       

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the spirit of greed and love of money will be broken off the financial system and businesses in Michigan.  We ask the Lord to raise up righteous men and women with a Joseph’s type gifting into leadership helping our state through this time of recession and depression. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the prospering and under girding of the small businesses within the state.  (Deuteronomy 8:18)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for wisdom for our legislators so they will pass good laws that will help the failing businesses within the state.  We ask for tax burdens to be lifted off of small business owners. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for manufacturing, various industries, and new jobs to be brought into the state as well as the developing of new businesses creating more employment.  (Proverbs 13:11)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for job creation for our youth so this exodus from our state would stop.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to give grace for a moral and hard work ethic to return to the people where we look on each others interest.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to stop the move of socialism in business and people would be inspired to work and not live off of the public dole.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for grace for hope for those living on welfare and that doors of opportunity would open for them.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to strengthen the banking system within Michigan.  Pray that they will deal with the businesses owners and financing with integrity and wisdom for the security of this system.  (Job 4:6)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to release new inventions and creative job ideas to people within the state that will create new jobs and revenues.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for a renewal of the automotive industry in Michigan.   We ask the Lord to remove the greedy from positions of authority and to rise up and bless righteous men and women who will administrate and influence this industry.   We ask Him to once again release ingenuity and creative ideas that will develop more cost efficient and marketable vehicles. (Psalms 1:1-3)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…will bless the farm land and the growing season, that our state will bring forth much fruit bringing in a good harvest for the farmers. (Psalms 107:35-37)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that any pestilence or disease would not prevail over our states agriculture, wildlife, and farms in Michigan.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for His blessings over the housing and building industry that they will prosper once again. (Deuteronomy 28 1-13)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to protect our waterways, great lakes, and rivers as it is part of our economy in Michigan.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…against any premature plans of the enemy of our souls to bring financial ruin to our nation to bring chaos.

           The Media / Communications Cultural Gateway #6

 

We Pray and ask the Lord… to bring to the forefront with his grace, favor, and success righteous men and women to be called to work in the media and all communication systems.  (Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 16:3)

                                                                                           

We Pray and ask the Lord… to release funding and promotion for those men and women called by God to influence the media and communication outlets.  

 

We Pray and ask the Lord… that the Spirit of Truth would expose deception and uncover the works of the antichrist spirit at work within the media all of our communication outlets.  (1 John 2:18)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord… to dry up the funding that is financing and fueling the pornography and child pornography within our state.  Pray that these predators would be caught, prosecuted, and removed from society.  (Ephesians 5:11, Proverbs 2:22)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord… to break the power of the spirit of deception that is covering truth and blinding the eyes of our people about partial birth and all abortion practices.   We ask the Lord to block the promotion and funding of this spirit so it will not be unleashed in our state and given rights to perform abortions legally.(Psalms 139:13-19)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord… for God fearing reporters, to be unbiased and truthful in reporting the news.  Pray for new standards of righteousness and integrity within the media and all communication outlets.  (Psalms 15:1-2, Proverbs 14:34)

We Pray and ask the Lord… to pour out his Spirit upon the people with in the media.  We ask the Lord to release laborers with in the media and communication outlets for a great harvest of souls to be saved and sanctified, producing fruits of righteousness within their businesses.  (Joel 2:28)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord… to dry up the finances and those who are in support and promoting the pro- abortion and the anti marriage/anti family, homosexual programs and bills with in our state.  Pray that their money being poured into the media to sponsor these anti God lifestyles would not succeed.  (Proverbs 12:2)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the protection of those working in the media and communications field; for those who are standing for Judeo Christian values within our society.  Pray for strength and boldness as they stand for truth. (Isaiah 54:17)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that the internet will be used as a technological laborer for God’s purposes.  May Christians invade chat rooms, MySpace and Facebook with God’s truth always giving an answer and treason of the hope of their calling.

We Pray and ask the Lord…for grace, favor, and success of new film directors who will produce wholesome family geared movies.  Use the state of Michigan to be an evangelical outreach in this area.  (Joshua 1:8)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for favor for Christians in the art and entertainment field.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…that God would raise up men and women with godly character and anointed talents or gifts that will influence the art world with righteousness.  (Romans 12:5-8)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for divinely inspired plays and movies to be given to good directors who will impact the movie and play industries.  We ask the Lord to inspire the young prophets who are called to the entertainment industry to boldly step out and write plays with messages of truth and virtue.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to release financial blessings upon wholesome arts and plays.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for a turning of the Arts from perversion and idolatry to purity, for He is the one that created the arts for His glory.  (Colossians 1:16)

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…to cut off the funding of the wicked and perverse entertainment productions.

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for the church to begin taking back the arts and using them for the kingdom of God and His Glory. 

 

We Pray and ask the Lord…for a move of God to hit the arts and entertainment industry.  Ask the Lord to send laborers into these areas for the salvation of many souls being brought into the kingdom of God.  Save Hollywood Lord! (Isaiah 45:8, Luke 10:2)

We Pray and ask the Lord…to reveal the deception of lust of the eyes, flesh and pride of life to those in these fields.
